Required Troop Leader Training

You wouldn’t try to build a house without a hammer and nails! The trainings below are the “hammer and nails” you need to build your troop leader skills. The videos are short, fun, and interactive! View them at your own pace in your own space. There is also a PDF of each training for you to download as a handy reference tool. To receive training credit, please be sure to complete the registration for each video.

Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention

This essential training helps you spot the signs of possible child abuse, gives you info on how to report any suspicious behavior, and how to keep your girls and yourself safe. This training is required for all volunteers who work directly with girls, and must be repeated every 3 years. You can do the online training and complete your training credit form online, or you can read the printable training and take the attached quiz and mail it to Council. The quiz has also been separated out for your convenience. There is a quiz after the video with questions for review. You may want to take notes!
