Whether your troop dreams of heading to one of our national parks, scoring seats to a Broadway play, checking out incredible Girl Scout history in Savannah, Georgia—or even traveling to a whole different country—you can help make it happen with these tools.

Once your plans are set, let us know you're on the GO!

Complete the Travel Application to request approval prior to any troop/group travel that includes 1 or more overnights. Requests should be submitted as follows for various trips:

  • 1-2 night trips: submit at least 2 weeks in advance
  • 3+ nights: submit at least 6 months in advance 
  • International Travel: submit at least 12 months in advance

In order to complete the application, you will need the following items ready to be attached:

  • Troop Travel Participation Roster (PDF)
  • Route Description or Directions
  • Certified Volunteer First Aider Information and copies of First Aid and CPR Certifications
  • Troop Travel Itinerary (PDF)

Additional Insurance is required for non-member participants and/or travel including 3 or more nights. The insurance is purchased through the council by submitting the Request for Additional Insurance form at least 2 weeks prior to your departure.
