Girl Scouts can pick a topic below that interests them and choose from a variety of activities to complete their fun patch. These programs can be completed by individual Girl Scouts or as a troop.

Get ready to complete the “seal-liest” patch program! Dive into the world of the Hawaiian Monk Seal as you explore their family members and habitats. You’ll have some fun and learn how you can make an impact in their habitat right from your own home.
Girl Scouts was founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low. In 1911, Juliette met Sir Robert Baden-Powell, who introduced her to the Boy Scout and Girl Guide movement. Juliette brought the movement back to the United States and started the first troop on March 12, 1912. Complete this patch program to experience some of the activities that Girl Scouts did during 1980-1989.
Everyone loves candy…you know, those delicious, sugary treats that you shouldn’t eat too much! Dive into the world of candy as you explore candy history, discover your inner scientist by creating candy or potions, and explore your inner designer to construct a catapult or create your own wrapper.
Every year, Girl Scouts explore the natural wonders found across our country during the Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend. Girl Scouts nationwide, along with their troops, friends, and families, celebrate our shared love of the outdoors.
Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend is on September 10 and 11 this year. Grab your backpack and head out to your local state parks for self-guided tours, family hikes, watersports, stargazing, special events, and more!

Summer is the perfect time to celebrate our love of the great outdoors. You have so many options for how to explore—from your window, a campsite, the sidewalk, or an open trail. Based on your grade level, complete the required number of activities to earn an awesome new patch.
Earn the More Days of Summer Patch by participating in EIGHT of the following activities, at least one from each category. On the back of this page or a sheet of paper, indicate which activities you participated in and give specific details or send a picture for at least one of them. Some can be done with your troop, some with your friends and some with your family.

We Are All in This Together is a patch program that teaches Girl Scouts about the different aspects of mental health. From coping mechanisms to finding your network, girls will learn that it really is okay to not be okay.
