Independence Day Celebration
A group of Girl Scouts had the opportunity to take part in a 4th of July celebration at Mt. Rushmore this weekend.
The Declaration of Independence was read by eight distinguished Americans, including family members of American icons such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Ceaser Chavez, Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Native Americans, and Medal of Honor recipients.
After the reading, Girl Scouts read the names of those who signed the historic document. What a great experience for all involved!
