Another incredible Girl Scout Cookie season has come to a close, and we are so proud of everything our Girl Scouts have accomplished this year! In honor of Teen CEO Month, let’s celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our young entrepreneurs. From managing sales and reaching goals, to building confidence and social skills, this season was about so much more than cookies. We loved seeing growth, leadership, and community impact all along the way.
Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, Girl Scouts learn five essential life skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. Whether they were talking to customers, managing inventory, or working as a team at a booth, each Girl Scout played an important role in making this season a success.
Together, our council sold an amazing 1,146,769 boxes of cookies, and had 3,824 Girl Scout Cookie Program participants, an incredible achievement that reflects the hard work and dedication of every troop, volunteer, and community.
Our Top 10 Cookie Entrepreneurs led the way in boxes sold with determination and unstoppable energy! They were treated to a full-on rockstar experience, learning to play an instrument and perform together at School of Rock, followed by a limo ride and a celebratory lunch with GSCCC CEO Tracy Keller.
2026 Top 10 Cookie Entrepreneurs
This season also included some other exciting rewards and experiences! Our April 4, 2026, Cookies on Ice with the Norfolk Admirals “VIP” participants earned unforgettable opportunities through special contests held during the program.
Girl Scout Senior Riley from Troop 957 had the honor of performing the puck drop as part of the seven-day Girl Scout Birthday Challenge. Girl Scout Cadette Emma from Troop 553 earned her special moment, riding the Zamboni on the ice, through the Gift of Caring promotion held in March.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Top Cookie Entrepreneur for her Girl Scout level, Girl Scout Brownie Faylen from Troop 40, also our top seller from Norfolk SU 375. She earned the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Tides game on April 24. What an amazing way to celebrate her hard work and dedication!
Another big cheer for our top sellers at each Girl Scout level:
One of the most meaningful parts of cookie season is always the Gift of Caring program. Through this initiative, Girl Scouts give customers the opportunity to purchase cookies that are then donated to service members and local heroes. It’s a powerful way for Girl Scouts to give back and make a meaningful difference in their community and far beyond. This year, customers donated 33,951 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to the cause.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Girl Scouts this season. Whether you purchased cookies, donated through Gift of Caring, or cheered on our Girl Scouts as a volunteer, you helped make this year unforgettable. We can’t wait to see what next season brings!
