Council Governance
Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast (GSCCC) is governed through policies set by its elected Board of Directors under the leadership of the Board Chair. The Board maintains the integrity and the purpose of Girl Scouting and is responsible for policymaking, fund development and strategic planning. The Board of Directors vote at the Board of Directors’ annual meeting to elect new Board members and Board Development Committee members. The Board meets six times per year.
Board Committees
There are several Board Committees that support the work of the Board of Directors: Audit, Advocacy, Board Development, Finance, Investment, Philanthropy, and Property.
