Feld Entertainment presents various productions on ice at the WesBAnco Arena in Wheeling, WV. Girl Scouts are able to observe a travelling show that took an average of 3500 hours of labor to hand carve and paint the props for the production. Girl Scouts are able to observe skaters spinning at more than 300 RPMs (Rotations per Minute) during airborne jumps. This is physics in action. The girls will see and hear music that is synched by computers within 1/30 of a second with more than 100 sound effects in the queue. Feld Entertainment provides the opportunity to see the creative arts of science through their discounted tickets. Girl Coders Program Partner

Girl Coders was created by a Gold Award Girl Scout Caroline Zeng, and is a nonprofit organization that combats the gender gap by offering entry-level coding workshops to encourage young girls to experience STEM in positive, empowering ways. We encourages troop leaders to host coding workshops for Girl Scouts, and we offer free patch to the girls after they complete the workshop as a physical reminder of her accomplishment in completing a coding education program.
Learning by Doing: Girl coding workshop provides girls hand-on activities. Girls will learn to code, and code to learn. There are a variety of patches available to Girl Scouts of all grade levels. Check out https://girlcoders.net/ to learn more about hosting a troop workshop and earning fun badges.

Lincoln Caverns is committed to providing quality educational programming for Girl Scouts of all ages. In addition to GSUSA badges and Journeys, Lincoln Caverns has developed patch programs to introduce girls to the worlds of geology, geocaching, and of course, caves! Join in the fun of badge/patch programs at Lincoln Caverns in one of three ways! Event days are designed for small troops to participate since no minimum fee is required. Individual group programs are available year-round on date of your choice, subject to availability (minimum fees apply). Newport Aquarium showcases thousands of animals from around the world in a million gallons of water. You'll be amazed at all there is to see and do, including fun and interactive activities, like touching a shark or meeting a penguin. Newport Aquarium is open to the public 365 days a year and is located only two minutes from Downtown Cincinnati at Newport on the Levee. We are proud to partner with Girl Scouts of America and offer programs and activities throughout the year, including badge completion workshops, Overnight Adventures, and discounted visits through Scouts Days and Group Discounts.

West Virginia Solar United Neighbors

WV SUN is a local nonprofit organization that expands access to solar by educating West Virginians about the benefits of distributed solar energy, helping them organize group solar installations, and strengthening West Virginia’s solar policies and its community of solar supporters. We work closely with community groups, churches, municipalities, and nonprofits to build programs and projects that make solar affordable and accessible. We mobilize West Virginia’s community of solar supporters to fight for fair policies so all West Virginia residents can benefit from solar energy. We develop solar co-ops that strengthen the West Virginia solar market by providing installers with a pool of good customers and empower a broad base of support for solar in communities across West Virginia. WonderWorks

WonderWorks, an Amusement Park for the mind, provides an active learning experience for guests of all ages with over 100 interactive exhibits. With an emphasis on science, math, art and physical education, guests will spark their imagination, engage in physical activities and challenge their minds! Their Pigeon Forge location has interactive exhibits relating to STEM, physical science, earth science, space exploration, art, physical education, and more! The Schrader Environmental Education Center is the nature department of Oglebay Institute, a non-profit organization that fosters appreciation, expression, and discovery by engaging people of all ages and abilities through exceptional programming in performing, and visual arts, dance, history and nature.
At the Schrader Environmental Education Center, Girl Scouts can experience a sense of community around a shared love of nature. WE create opportunities to celebrate and study West Virginia’s native habitats; Schrader Center programs initiate, reinforce and extend people’s connection to nature through hands-on, science-based, interpretive experiences.

Faith Ranch

Faith Ranch has been working with Girl Scouts for various councils for over 40 years. Faith Ranch is a non-profit, non-denomination, Christian Ranch camp on 4200 acres located in Jewett, Ohio! Faith Ranch has approx. 100 horses for trail riding and horsemanship. They also offer archery, low ropes, hayrides, giant volleyball, swimming, small animals, hiking, camping, barn dances, lariat, crafts and much more! West Virginia Youth Environmental Program

The West Virginia Youth Environmental Program (YEP) is a program sponsored by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. Its mission is to educate the state's young citizens about the importance of a healthy environment and to inspire them to participate in environmental projects within their communities. Enrolling in the program is free and there are no obligations once a group signs up. The YEP offers cash awards to groups such as the Girl Scouts, who complete environmental projects. To qualify for an award, a group must submit a report detailing its project. The YEP offers many learning opportunities through hands-on activities, camps, and conferences. Activities include lessons in recycling, water conservation, the water cycle, pollution prevention and waste reduction, watersheds, energy conservation, and other environmental topics. The YEP also sponsors annual events such as State Junior Conservation Camp, the Youth Environmental Conference and Youth Environmental Day and can assist groups who wish to participate in cleanup projects that remove trash from the state's rivers, streams, and roadways. FLOC Outdoor Education

Since 1971, FLOC Outdoor Education has been providing hands-on outdoor activities to over 10,000 youths. There are many outdoor programs to choose from, while providing a fun exciting leanring experience. Girl Scouts can participate in FLOC’s high and low ropes challenge course, canoe down the Shenandoah River, build fires or participate in environmental education. Some environmental education lessons focus on forest ecosystem, water ecology, pollinator lesson and bee hive unit. FLOC’s programs are all cooperative in nature. They focus heavily on the education and the process of learning. Each program is catered to fit the needs of the group and their goals. While participating in our program there is ample opportunities for hand on learning by doing programs. We are excited to provide your organization with an incredible opportunity to partner with the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council. As a program vendor, you will be integral in providing girls with community programs centered on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. There are three different opportunities for partnering with the Black Diamond Council- on a Preferred Vendor, Community Vendor, or Service Vendor level.
