High Adventure

New High Adventure Troops for 8th Grade Cadettes and Up!

Experience next-level adventures in Council-run, girl-led troops. Girls from Troops and Juliettes are welcome! We'll offer events to troop members throughout the year for high adventure, conservation projects, and outdoor career development opportunities. These are secondary troops, so girls don't have to give up their current troop or Juliette status.

Trailblazers

The Girl Scout Trailblazers have had an extraordinary history in Girl Scouts since the mid-1950s. This special interest troop develops girls' trail-based skills in topics like trail hiking, primitive camping, caving, rock climbing, and taking action in parks and wilderness areas.

Girl Scout National Park Ranger Program: Play in the Park
Learn all about the Girl Scout Ranger Program, planning a trip with your Girl Scouts to one (or two or three!) of the more than 400 national parks across the U.S., earning cool Girl Scout badges and completing Journeys while adventuring outdoors, learning and making the world a better place through nature and service, and so much more. In addition to any badge or Journey requirements girls complete, the National Park Service will award Girl Scouts the Girl Scout Ranger certificate and/or a patch for participation—yes, please!
