Camp Journey at Home Kits

Keep on Girl Scouting as you complete a Journey at home—and everything you need is inside a kit prepared by GSSEM!

With these kits, girls can experience Girl Scout programming in their own backyard, their neighborhood or city, or state parks near their home—while also learning outdoor and safety skills.

Journey Description

OUTDOOR JOURNEY
Explore and enjoy nature while doing a sustainable Take Action project!
Activities range from backyard camping to high-adventure exploration. This Journey will help girls build essential outdoor skills and inspire them to become environmental stewards.

KIT ASSEMBLY
All kits assembled and distributed at our GSSEM service centers are prepared with safety and sanitization protocols in place per the CDC and State of Michigan recommendations.

WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR KIT
Please wear a face covering and maintain social distancing, as advised by the State of Michigan.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
You must register at least one week prior to your pickup date, so we can get your kit(s) ready for you.

REFUNDS
Refunds are NOT available for A Camp Journey at Home kits.

RESCHEDULING
If, for some reason, you can't make it to your scheduled pickup, please email Murphy Hammer, Manager of Camp and Outdoor Ed, at mhammer@gssem.org to reschedule.

ABOUT KIT PICKUPS

Kits can be picked up each month at GSSEM service centers (Clinton Twp, Detroit, White Lake, Flint, and Port Huron) and Lake Erie Metro Park in Brownstown. At each location, we follow safety protocols as outlined by the state of Michigan.
