Bronze Award Girl Scouts

Welcome to the Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. As you and your team plan and complete your project, you'll meet new people and have the kind of fun that happens when you work with other Girl Scouts to make a difference.

Current 5th-Grade Juniors: The deadline for completing your Bronze Award has been extended until December 31, 2020 for inclusion in the 2021 Bronze Award Ceremony.

You can pursue your Girl Scout Bronze Award if:

You're in fourth or fifth grade (or equivalent)
You're a registered Girl Scout Junior
You've completed a Junior Journey

Bronze Award Quick Facts

Girls must work in a group, whether it is with their troop or with a group outside of Girl Scouting.
All of the requirements for the Bronze Award must be completed by Girl Scout Juniors (4 - 5 grade) by September 30 of the year they leave 5th grade.
The Bronze Award Take Action Project requires a minimum of 20 hours per Girl Scout.
Leaders or advisors helping with the Bronze Award decide if the girls have fulfilled the requirements and chosen an appropriate project. There is no approval by GSSEM.
Once the steps have been completed, visit a GSSEM Council Shop to purchase Bronze Award Pins.
The Bronze Award serves as a foundation to earning the Silver and Gold Awards.

Already earned the Bronze Award? Congratulations!
Please register your award so GSSEM may record your accomplishment. Once you have registered, you'll get a link to download the certificate. Fill it out, print it, and then you can give it to your girls!
