As a Girl Scout, you’re automatically a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), which means you can visit the WAGGGS World Centers. These five incredible destinations—created just for Girl Scouts like you—are fun, affordable, and safe places to stay while you broaden your horizons and make new friends.
Girl Scout members, troops, volunteers, and families are invited to join us for adventures in Mexico, Switzerland, England, India, and across the African continent.

Before You Go
Volunteer or intern at one of the WAGGGS World Centers
Want to take your World Center visit to the next level?
Girl Scouts and Girl Guides (18+) from around the world may apply to join the staff of a WAGGGS World Center for several weeks or months, depending on availability. Responsibilities can range from running programs for visitors throughout the year to working on special WAGGGS projects, helping to build community partnerships, supporting center staff with logistics, and planning for guests. and planning for guests.
Interning or volunteering at a World Center will provide Girl Scouts with the opportunities to develop and implement cross-cultural competency skills, as well as gain experience in hospitality, business, non-profit management, and program development. Interns and volunteers will make lifelong memories and friends as they experience a new country alongside Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the world.
How to Apply
Must be 18+ years old
Apply to the WAGGGS Volunteer Resource Pool.
Complete your application form and email to globalgirlscouting@girlscouts.org for review and to help finalize your application.
Once you’ve been accepted into the Volunteer Resource pool, review the opportunities across the World Centers and apply to the Center of your choice.
