Angela T. Clark

 

Performing in commercials since the age of four, Angela is the daughter of Barbara Randall Clark of Macon, GA, and the late Dr. Carl O. Clark, of Savannah,GA. A Georgia Peach by proxy, she was born in Orangeburg South Carolina, and has a dual degree in theater and business from thee South Carolina State University.

One of five award recipients for the 22nd annual Mary Dean Brewer Women of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Carolina in 2020, A former Corporate Communications Specialist in the automotive industry, Angela is the Founder and CEO of Frabjous (Frab-juss) Enterprises, Inc. managing thirteen subsidiaries including three Miss America 2.0 franchises. Angela holds active memberships in the Greenville Chapters of the NAACP, SCSUNAA and is a charter member and first Treasurer of the Greenville SC Section of the National Council of Negro Women. The current 1st Vice President of the Greenville (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

Angela is proud to celebrate actively serving her community through this public service organization for the past 32 years having been initiated in the Alpha Xi Chapter at South Carolina State University in the Spring of 1988. Angela T. Clark’s Serenadé, featuring the jazz chanteuse, is a fusion of old school jazz, folk and rhythm and blues with a multiplayer roster. A 2019 South Carolina State University Jazz Hall of Fame Inductee, Angela’s first live recording ‘Unfolding” was released worldwide on November 1, 2011. Excited about the November, 2019 anticipated release of “An Unexpected Christmas”, her first holiday album; Angela’s sophomore album "Unexpected" will be available in the summer of 2020.

The first African-American woman to hold the titles of Miss North Charleston, South Carolina Queen of Roses and Miss Orangeburg County in the Miss South Carolina/America Scholarship Organization, she an internationally published journalist and author of the Levels to This Series, a twelve ebook series on taking relationships and friendships to the next level coming, out in March of 2020. A 2020 South Carolina State University Stellar Alumni Calendar Honoree for outstanding contributions in the area of the Arts, she is also delighted to share her first solo book project entitled the “PAIN Perspective” coming out in the fall of 2020.
