A budget is a plan for managing your money based on your income (how much you're bringing in) and expenses (how much is spent). A balanced budget is one in which income equals expenses. This means no money is leftover or owed.
You can make sure your budget is balanced on the "Summary" tab before proceeding. If it is not, check your work on your "Income" and "Expense" tabs.
